April 28 - The Historical Society's Quarterly Meeting at the Kerr Community Center, 1308 Walnut Street at 7:00 p.m.. The program will feature the history and archeology of the area within Bastrop County now occupied by XS Ranch. Guest speakers are Martha Doty Freeman, independent historian, and Ann Scott, Director of Cultural Resources at ACI Consulting.

April 30 - May 31 - Antique Quilt Exhibit at the Museum, 702 Main St. See family heirlooms and share the time-honored tradition of quilting.

May 21 - Are You The Master Of The Hunt?  A scavenger hunt for the benefit of the Museum  and Visitor Center. Join the fun for an afternoon of sleuthing and competition followed by dinner and dancing, featuring the Still Rockin' Band.  For information call 512-303-0057 or send an email to bchs1832@sbcglobal.net
