Volunteering

The Museum and Visitor Center depend on volunteers

The Museum and Visitor Center depend on volunteers who provide tremendous support in operating both facilities.  The single requirement for serving as a volunteer is simply the desire to help.  You may want to join a planning committee for the Society's next fundraiser, be a docent in one of the historic homes during the Holiday Homes Tour, or be a host/ hostess in our booth at a local festival.  Perhaps you want to be a greeter or tour guide for the Visitor Center.

Volunteering can be great fun. You'll meet many people who share your interests and you'll play a vital role in the preservation and promotion of our history and our community.

Call the Historical Society Museum, 512.303.0057, or the Old Town Visitor Center, 512.303.0904, and let us place your name on the volunteer list.  Thanks for helping.

Volunteers are Needed Immediately at the Visitor Center.  Call Cindye at 512-303-0904 and choose the hours and/or days you are available.
